This consultancy assignment will be under Ministry of Environment, Water and Ag-riculture (MEWA). UNDP is facilitating in disseminating the advertisement as coun-terpart to the MEWA. The consultant will be hired under MEWA contract.
However, UNDP will also act as a sponsor and provide the required residence and working permit. Working place will be the MEWA Headquarter in Riyadh.
The Project duration is 2 years, there is a possibility for extension for additional one year

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Saudi Arabia is looking for an Individual Contractor to perform the above-mentioned assignment. The interested offeror must download the attached Individual Consultant Procurement Notice, Term of Reference, and the Document Templates to be included when submitting an application.

Any request for clarification/additional information on the procurement notice shall be communicated in writing to UNDP office or send to email benjamin.arthur@undp.org while the Procurement Unit would endeavour to provide information expeditiously, only requests receiving at least 5 working days prior to the submission deadline will be entertained. Any delay in providing such information will not be considered as a reason for extending the submission deadline. The UNDP's response (including an explanation of the query but without identifying the source of inquiry) will be posted on the Individual Consultant (IC) Procurement Notice. Therefore, all prospective offerors are advised to visit this page regularly to make obtain update related to this Individual Consultant (IC).

Interested offeror/individual must submit the following documents/information to demonstrate their qualifications. Candidates that fail to submit the required information will not be considered.
•Personal History Form-P11 or CV indicating all past experience from similar projects, as well as the contact details (email and telephone number) of the Candidate and at least three (3) professional references;
•Duly accomplished Offeror’s Letter to UNDP confirming interest and availability for the Individual Contractor (IC) assignment and lump-sum (all-inclusive) price proposal with a breakdown of costs (template provided as per attached file)
•One page Technical Proposal on contract methodology and implementation

The documents are required to combine into one file for the submission.

UNDP reserves rights to reject any applications that are incomplete.

The on­line applications submission will be acknowledged where an email address has been provided. If you do not receive an e­mail acknowledgement within 24 hours of submission, your application may not have been received. In such cases, please resubmit the application, if necessary. Please combine all your documents into one (1) single PDF document as the system only allows to upload maximum one document.
