RFP Control Information
This Scope of Work (SOW) covers all engineering services, maintenance, supply and administrative aspects required for the provision of product support, for EATON Ltd. manufactured/support equipment in service with NATO Support and Procurement Agency – Land and Air Combat System Program (NSPA-LM) stake-holder military organizations, agencies and support groups. Equipment in this requirement are listed in Annex 1. This list is not exhaustive and may be amended by mutual consent.
3.1 Scope of Work
The Contractor shall perform all services identified in this document to support the performance, safety, quality, reliability and compliance with applicable legislations of equipment/products and components as identified in the attached Annex 1.
When required by a purchase order, the Contractor shall provide:
Technical Support Services - Engineering services and technical expertise to support inservice equipment. Required services includes, but are not limited to investigation, analysis, theoretical calculations, modification and improvement proposals, technical documentations and drawing updates.
Depot Level Maintenance (DLM): this encompasses the following tasks performed according to the requirements set by the approved OEM: visual inspection, dimensional control, compliance of all necessary accessories (adding as necessary),visual and dimensional inspection after test, modification (as required and approved by NSPA), cleaning, painting, marking/identification, functional testing of all Line Replacement Unit (LRUs), preservation and packaging, in the most cost effective way for NSPA.
Design Services - for new equipment based on requirement provided by NSPA. Required services includes, but are not limited to, design, prototypes manufacturing, trial or acceptance test, correction of design defect, creation of Engineering Change Proposal (ECP), Technical Data Package (TDP) update, Codification of new parts, CE Declaration of Conformity, training as well as operating and maintenance instruction preparation.
Manufacturing of equipment - according to the requirements set by the approved OEM. Supply Services ¡V The Contractor shall notify NSPA of any difficulties to procure replacement parts and/or of any exceedingly long delivery lead times for repair parts, exclusively for NSPA induced workload. Upon such events, NSPA may decide to initiate the process for acquiring the parts and making them available to the Contractor at cost. In such cases, the Contractor will invoice the parts provided by NSPA at cost.
First Article Inspection (FAI): shall be performed for any item being repaired/overhauled/modified by the Contractor for the first time. FAI shall cover, but may be not limited to, inspection of repair procedures, work processes, repair facilities and associated equipment, acceptance test procedures, utilised for the repair/overhaul/modified process other than Test Results Sheet of concerned parts.
